A single drop-in doesn’t give the full Baby Sensory experience, as babies often spend the first sessions simply settling in and exploring the rich sensory environment.

Term 1 starts next week, and we are so excited to welcome our lovely families back after a big break! We can’t wait to see familiar faces, meet beautiful new ones, and begin a wonderful 10-week term together.

Our Term 1 program will be running across Papanui, Woodend and Rangiora, with each session intentionally designed to support early learning and development through sensory play, responsive interactions and relationship based practice, by creating meaningful moments for you and your pēpi.

Classes are already filling quickly, with some sessions nearly full or waitlisted.

You asked… here it is! Say hello to our special Holiday Music Session 🎶

This session is designed to support early learning and development through music, movement, and sensory exploration. Babies will engage with rhythm, first sounds, singing, signing, and musical instruments - providing them rich opportunities to explore, respond, and engage in a fun, nurturing environment.

A highlight of the session will be painting to Mozart versus Tchaikovsky, exploring how different musical styles spark engagement, focus, and creativity - a truly inspiring, one-off experience for your little one.

Activities include:

-Hands-on musical play with wind chimes and Jack-in-the-box
-Guided creative exploration of music by Mozart and Tchaikovsky through painting
-Observing how different musical styles influence focus and engagement

You’ll also discover fun facts and research, including how playing an instrument strengthens brain connections, supports auditory processing and language development, and is closely linked to emotion and memory.

This community session is open to all families - current and new offering a rich opportunity for shared learning and meaningful connection.
