Maybe getting dressed, packing the baby bag and making it out the door feels like a huge achievement in itself.

At Baby Sensory, you are welcome exactly as you are. There’s no pressure to arrive perfectly on time. Feed your baby, change your baby, take your time and come when you can. We’ll be here waiting for you.

If no one has asked you lately… this one is for you. 💛

Sometimes I think we underestimate just how much it can take to get out of the house with a baby.

The broken sleep. The feeds. The nappy bag. The outfit changes. The tears. The things you forgot. And somewhere amongst it all, trying to remember yourself too.

Sometimes, just getting out the door is a massive win.

✨Maybe you nearly didn’t make it today.
✨Maybe you arrived late and apologised.
✨Maybe you’re exhausted but still smiling.
✨Maybe today is actually a really good day.

Whatever today looks like, we see you.

We truly value these precious taonga 💛💚

We feel so lucky to have been gifted this beautiful korowai, made with so much love and care, even in our Baby Sensory colours. It means a lot to us and it’s something we’ll treasure.

Over the next two weeks, we’ll be celebrating some very special whānau as their babies reach a beautiful new stage in their development and prepare for their next chapter.

And honestly, it’s a little emotional. 🥹

We offer magical, educational and research-based sessions for babies from birth to 13 months. Through music, movement, NZSL and sensory experiences, your baby can explore and learn at their own pace, while you enjoy precious one-on-one time together, build confidence, discover simple activities to enjoy at home and connect with other local whānau.

A few exciting updates from Baby Sensory Christchurch!!! 💛💚

Papanui Mondays are BACK!!!!

We’ve had lots of requests for Monday classes, so we’ve worked a little timetable magic and they’re back! Some Papanui classes are already full, so if Monday suits you, now’s your chance :)

And… ROLLESTON is starting!!!

Our introductory sessions now begin Friday 25 September 🎉

You can book for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks, and we’re happy to adjust your attendance to suit.

We can’t wait to see what Term 4 has to offer!

What an amazing Father’s Day celebration we had!

From lots of fun and plenty of smiles, to beautiful moments captured by Sarah Perrins Photography, yummy food to share and even a little treat… we packed so much into our special day!

But our favourite part? Seeing our Baby Sensory whānau slow down, connect, laugh and enjoy some precious time together 💛
