It is our Chinese Language Week, an opportunity to learn something about the Chinese language and their culture.
The children loved the kongfu song and the action, they were able to engage with the song and the action after a couple practises.
We made the panda masks, decorated the blue and white porcelain with egg shells and cellophane, dressup, learnt to sing grace in Chinese, colouring the Fruits of the Spirit basket that's bilingual, and water play (looking for stars in the red water as the Chinese flag has 5 stars).
What a great week we had! 🥰🥰🥰

Children's activities for Father's Day last week...
--- using bolts and nuts to make a key chain
--- making a card for daddy's
--- drawing mustache on face with shaving cream
--- turning palms into fishes in the sea
--- roll the balls and get them into the cups

Here are more photos of our birthday celebration.
Children performed singing, had some fun games, followed by some table activities: making lenterns, crowns and face painting.
We ended the event with a Piñata, everyone (almost) had a turn and children were so excited, even our youngest can't stop queuing up for it for a second/third hit. It was so much fun! Thank you everyone for your contributions.

We celebrated our 7th birthday and the Chinese Mid-autumn festival (also known as the Mooncakes Festival) at the preschool yesterday (10 Sep).
With the help of the teachers, our children made decorations for the classroom, the Oreo Creamcheese Mooncakes, and decorated the birthday cake.
Some families took the opportunity to take group photos together. So nice!
We give thanks to the Lord for this wonderful preschool. 🥰🥰🥰
