Hi All,

I’m reaching out to you because I know how much you value your health.

Join me at 6.30pm starting on the 16th November for five (5) weeks and really get your body moving functionally.

It's a minimal equipment class relying mainly on body weight, floor movement and it will be loads of fun.

Sign up for the five (5) week block and begin the transformation of yourself in time for that Christmas holiday.

It's a steal at $100 for five (5) weeks, you’ll feel invigorated, challenged and meet lots of great people who share the same health goals.

If you know of anybody who may like this class, feel free to pass on the details to them.

Looking forward to seeing you on the 16th November at 6.30pm, All Souls Church, 30 Church Lane, Merivale.

Thanks,

Murray

Millions of us face standardized testing at a variety of times throughout our lives. Whether in school, college, or upskilling at work, the prospect of facing hours of questions designed to test our skill levels can be very daunting.

Going into examinations in a stressed state can make concentration very difficult and negatively affect the final grade. Of course, going into exams tired and unfocused will also cause you to perform at a level below your best.

When the stress of a test or exam gets too much for us, we enter the body’s stressed ‘fight or flight’ response and lose our ability to function effectively. When we are too relaxed however, our responses are slower and we can lose focus and concentration; essential for successful exam results.

This 30-minute video is designed to help ease those concerns, to help calm your body and mind and focus you for the task ahead.

We already know that dysfunctional breathing includes:
- Mouth breathing
- Fast, upper chest breathing
- Irregular breathing, and
- Feeling like you can't take a satisfying breath.

Now, let's look at functional breathing. What exactly is it, and how will you start doing it?

Healthy breathing has 3 simple dimensions that enhance sleep and help your brain work better:
1. Breathe Light: To improve blood flow and oxygen delivery to the brain
2. Breathe Slow: To achieve a balanced state of mind - calm but alert, and
3. Breathe Deep: To increase attention.

To optimize these dimensions of healthy breathing, you must breathe through your nose.
