Nobody loves a hiccup especially during the longest of the school term. With a busy week, parent teacher interviews, transition sessions - it was a sad day. I’ve had this laminator for around 15 years, even bought it second hand (I was super skint back then).
She’s seen me through many tasks, resource making, problem solving across anything….i am loathe to throw her out, but she’s just eaten too much lately- this was the finishing touch. After painstakingly creating, sharing the cutting and sorting…..she’s sealed her last pouch.
Goodbye old trusty friend, thank you for sticking 😂 around for so long!

It’s been a minute since my last post. I’ve been caught up with report writing- keeping focused on the kids achievements and wins has been the direction- that and being unwell.

Almost back on track. I revamped our whole program a couple of weeks ago. Some of the kids were struggling a bit with handwriting, so we start everyday with a quick letter formation lesson and then move into our code lesson.

We’ve covered some great sound topics - ‘eigh’ ‘ough’’ie’ just in the past couple of weeks! Phew!!😅 Best part is that we are beginning to see this shine through in their writing! I am super excited to complete The Code assessment tracker at the end of next term.

Watch this space as we learn and grow!! Only two more weeks before we enjoy a 2 week winter break!
