The Government is currently reviewing how early childhood education is funded in New Zealand. As part of this process, Heretaunga Kindergartens is preparing a submission, and we'd love to hear directly from our whānau.

Just a sneak peak at our day today- with the new siren being replaced at the Waipawa fire station next door. It caused a lot of entertainment, curiosity and excitement for our tamariki today. Thank you for all your patience on drop off- pick up.

Your kaiako at Waipawa kindergarten have had a busy week in preparation for your return! We have been working on our environment, attending professional learning courses & work shops. We also had a wānanga at Mangaroa Marae 💚 with the rest of the kindergarten association.

We can’t wait to see you all return this week. Kindergarten is open tomorrow 8:30-2:30pm 💚
