A big thanks to Cecilia from Cambridge Vets, who came to educate our Ag Day competitors on how to care for a lamb. Thanks to Laura for bringing the lamb to school too!
Te Miro School's Ag Day will be held Friday, 16th of October. As per usual, there will be food and coffee to purchase, raffles to enter and dedicated children to cheer on! All welcome.
Also, this year Group Day will be held at Te Miro School the following Friday, 23rd October. Once again, lots of goodies to purchase or win, and this event is also open to all!

A big thanks to local farmer Willie McKnight, who came to educate our Ag Day competitors on how to care for a calf. Thanks to Matt for bring the calf to school too!

What great fun we had this week doing an extra dose of maths each day! Prizes will be handed out at assembly on Monday.

We are planning to restore the cherished pou (poles) at Te Miro School, and we would love to reconnect with the past families who transformed them into beautiful pieces of art.

If your family designed a pou, or if you know of another family who did, please reach out to us.

We have a few options available: your family is welcome to restore your pou yourselves, pass it along as a gift to another Te Miro School family, or allow our current students to lovingly restore it on your behalf.

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Ninja Valley again to run the Show up & Shine programme.
The class with the highest attendance this term will win a trip to Ninja Valley in Term 4

It's time to reveal how many lollies are in the jar! We had guesses from 200 all the way to 10,000. But the correct number was 537.
Congratulations to Sarah MacDonald, who was the closest guess with 563. We will be in touch via phone with Sarah and get the lolly jar to her.
