🏅 Celebrating the Commonwealth Games!

We were excited to welcome New Zealand Olympic rowing champion Emma Twigg to inspire our tamariki.

Hearing about her journey, determination, and love of sport reminded us that with perseverance, hard work, and believing in ourselves, we can all achieve great things.

One of the biggest highlights for the children was getting to hold Emma's medals—they were amazed at just how heavy they were! It gave them a real appreciation of the dedication and effort behind every achievement.

We're looking forward to following Team New Zealand and cheering on all of our amazing athletes throughout the Games. 🇳🇿

Matariki Learning

Our preschool tamariki enjoyed learning about the Matariki stars and exploring ancient tools used in māra kai (traditional food gardens) during a wonderful visit from educator Kerrin.

A big thank you to the Waipā District Council for supporting learning in our classroom. ⭐
