17 years of performing with one of my best friends!! 🎶

Lance and I met at Waikato University in a music class. Neither of us could have imagined that one conversation and one class would lead to 17 years of performing together.

From uni assignments to weddings, pubs, community events, and all of the things in between… it’s been an incredible journey.

One of the greatest gifts music has given me is the lifelong friendships that come with it.

Here’s to 17 amazing years of music, teaching, and the best friendship…and hopefully many more to come. 🎶💕

First things first… make sure your ukulele is tuned! 😄

Today’s song is Let it be - The Beatles! Just 4 easy chords and you’re away!

✨ Perfect for beginners (kids or adults)
✨ A great way to advance from 1-2 chords - to 4 chords

Strumming tip: if you start off with one strum, you can build on the strumming pattern later!

Chord tip: I play my C chord a little differently, but when I’m teaching students, I always encourage using the ring finger.

Give it a go and see if you can play - TODAY! 🎶
