💛🦒 Wear Yellow for Harold Day! 🦒💛

What a sea of yellow we had at Hautapu School today! It was fantastic to see our tamariki and staff getting into the spirit of the day!

A huge thank you for your kind donations to support the Waipā King Country Life Education Trust. Together, we raised an awesome $100! 🎉💛

And a big shout-out to our amazing Student Council for leading a fun-filled lunchtime dance party! 🎶💃🕺

In Week Two of this term, 11 students attended the Waipa Gymsports Festival. They represented our school with pride and achieved some very good results.

Congratulations to Isabelle who placed first in her grade, Millie who placed 2nd and Everly who placed 4th. Isabelle and Everly are representing the school at the Waikato Regional Festival tomorrow (2nd September). Best of luck girls.

On Friday 28th August, our Kapa Haka group of over 40 students performed at the Sir Don Rowlands Centre, Lake Karāpiro, as part of the Cambridge Schools Kapa Haka Festival.

We are incredibly proud of our students for representing our kura with pride and celebrating Te Ao Māori through waiata and haka. It was fantastic to see their hard work and commitment come together in such a special performance.

A special thank you to Mrs Papesch and Mrs Barr for coordinating and leading our Kapa Haka group, and to Mr K, Mrs Bennett and our wonderful parent helpers for supporting our students on the day.
