I came across this total gem of a performance from Lucy Thomas today and had to share.

Such a wonderfully open-hearted, expressive performer... we were all spellbound.

Lucy I remember your performance was repeating in my memory for days after this Showcase performance - and I’m not complaining! Yours is definitely a voice I want to have stuck in my head :)

What do you do after a big performance?

While it’s tempting to go “ok, what’s next?”…

I find the real accelerator for singers I work with is to have some magic questions to help reflect, notice what you’ve gained, and what you want for the future.

If you live in the Waikato and love musical theatre, you should come and join us on Sunday!

At 1pm on Sunday my students and I are performing an hour of beautiful musical theatre songs at the Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts.

It's always a magical event. We're accompanied by the legendary Alex Wiltshire, and you will enjoy music from Matilda, Legally Blonde, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Maybe Happy Ending, Phantom of the Opera and more.

I'll be singing too, so if you missed Matilda (or you'd like relive the terror of Trunchbull without the bodysuit), here's your chance.

Our Adult Musical Theatre Class is preparing a cut 35 minute version of Hamilton for our annual Term 3 MTS Showcase.

Our adult performers will be cast into the iconic roles and songs in a beautiful creative staging of the story. We start Wednesday and perform in 10 weeks. This is always a highlight of the year!
