A huge congratulations to our three Year 6 students who recently represented us at the CamMaths competition! They went head-to-head with other schools, tackling some incredibly challenging maths problem-solving tasks. Not only did they show off their fantastic critical thinking skills, but they also put their resilience to the test, working through tricky problems without giving up. They did an absolutely wonderful job, put in 100% effort, and should be incredibly proud of their achievements. Ka rawe!

A vibrant rural school just 9kms from Cambridge
We're very proud of our Roto Tyre Fire π₯ Millie, Hugo & Hendrik, and our Roto Rockets π Melita, Ashleigh & Leo, for their dedication and relilience, not only yesterday on competition day but over the last 6 weeks of intensive training, teaching them to cycle the Grassroots Trust Velodrome! It has certainly been a huge journey for them, and a massive experience that not many people get to say they've had! Thank you also to awesome teacher, Liezel, for her guiding and inspiring them to do the Battle of the Schools in the first place, and to the parents of those 6 students for their own dedication and support.

We're excited to be holding our annual Roto Speech Finals competition this Thursday! π€
The teachers found it extremely difficult to choose 3 finalists from each group this year, but they eventually narrowed it down and we have our nine orators all set to deliver their speeches on Thursday evening. We commend ALL students who spoke in front of their peers during the past week, as it takes immense courage and resilience to do so.
All parents, caregivers and whaanau are welcome to attend. Please arrive no later than 5.50pm as we will begin at 6pm sharp.
Come over to the Grassroots Trust Velodrome to support Roto Tyre Fire π₯ and Roto Rockets π!
