Meri Kirihimete to our wonderful Little Sparrows whanau and wider community! 🎄🥳
What an amazing turn out we had last Friday to celebrate Christmas and the year that we have spent together.
We hope you enjoyed the petting zoo, pony rides, giant bubbles, face painting, arts and crafts and our awesome photo station! 🐴 🫧 🎨
A big thank you to you all for contributing to our yummy shared kai, and a big thank you to our incredible team of kaiako, leaders and helpers who put this afternoon together! We appreciate you all so much and couldn’t have done it without you🫶🏼

Introducing our wonderful new Centre Manager, Amanda!✨

Kia ora e te whānau
I am Amanda Willats but usually go by Manda, and I am so excited to be back at Little Sparrows as the Centre Manager.
I am a qualified and fully registered kaiako who has been working in a variety of early childhood settings, roles and environments over the last 28 years.
I am very familiar with the community that is Little Sparrows, as I was a Kaiako here between 2019-2021.
My whānau and I, moved to Cambridge nearly 7 years ago and have loved the lifestyle that it has brought us. My husband and I enjoy going out for great coffee and food with friends, travelling and raising our two tamariki who keep us very busy, with Georgia a student of Performing Arts and Lucas finishing Year 13 at Cambridge High School.
I am a passionate kaiako who has a strong belief in developing reciprocal and respectful relationships with you all. I have a passion for leadership and engaging and building a team of kaiako that will promote and develop your tamariki’s social and emotional competence, so that together we are reaching our full potential. All the while having fun and learning through lots of play and rich experiences.
Make sure you come and say hello as I cannot wait to be part of this wonderful community once again and to meet you all.
