My focus here at the Guitar studio is to constantly strive to deliver a better way of learning to you the student. Enthusiasm is self sustaining.
I have been teaching for over 20 years and the systems in place here are a result of my experience. Its all about getting a balanced process happening, where you are getting a good progressive understanding for the instrument, fret board harmony etc, and how that applies to music and music theory, including (optional) theory grades through the internationally recognized Trinity College of Music Lo

Our 6 year old made this creation for week-1 of the local Lego Blockdown Waikato competition yesterday.
He created his own audio track for the entry, but I thought I'd put some guitar tracks on it for him too :)

It is a really simple process to get this rolling and I have had great results with video conferencing over the years.
A big plus of doing things this way is that times become more flexible as you will not need to account for traffic.
I am very grateful to be able to still offer lessons in this way.
To do my small part of stopping the spread, whilst helping maintain some sense of normality for people in this challenging time.

Had this mini Maton in the other day to get set up, action was way to high. Neck adjusted, saddle lowered, frets polished, new strings. Plays like a completely different guitar. No more high tension wires here.
This is a Guitar that a client purchased off of Trade-me. It had a whole new eco system growing on it! (see pics in comments) after relocating the Woolly Mouldoth in an environmentally friendly way, I discovered it was a Schcter Diamond Series. After a Major clean up, fret-board polish, action setup with new strings and Intonation setup it plays really nice.
