The Learning Loop

The Learning Loop I offer specialist teaching in literacy as a trained, accredited MSL instructor with 20 years experience teaching at primary school level.

I also offer maths instruction using a structured maths approach. An experienced primary teacher of 18 plus years, I currently work part time teaching a Year 3-5 class and part time as a private specialist tutor. I am passionate about giving students the tools they need to read, write and spell. In 2023 I took my learning about Structured Literacy to the next level and decided to train with IMSLE.

This included a 5-day intensive training course as well as 12 months of guided practical experience in teaching MSL both in my class and 1-1 privately. I now have accreditation with the Australian Dyslexic Association. I love seeing the difference MSL makes in giving students the tools they need to read and spell with greater ease.
