Pegasus Cup is ready to grow ✨
After another incredible year and a sold-out event, we are working towards our biggest step yet.
In 2027, our goal is to expand Pegasus Cup from two days to three days.
What does this mean?
More schools.
More teams.
More riders getting the opportunity to be part of New Zealand’s premier secondary schools show jumping event.
This growth would allow us to increase from 51 teams to approximately 75 teams, creating space for close to 300 horse and rider combinations to compete at Takapoto Estate.
To make this happen, we need the support of sponsors and businesses who want to be part of developing the future of our sport.
Sponsorship opportunities for 2027 are now open, and we would love to hear from anyone interested in joining the Pegasus Cup journey.
Together, we can make this next chapter possible.

A huge thank you to the owners who so generously lent horses to our riders, helping make this tour possible: Mark Nicholls, Hayley Crane and Mikayla Hogg.
Thank you also to Boneo Park for having us as our base throughout the tour, and to Phil Lever and Frida Lindgren from Lever Equestrian for their support, coaching and guidance throughout the week. And thank you to our own sponsors for allowing us to be able to give the kids this opportunity.
Most importantly, congratulations to all of the riders for embracing the opportunity, stepping outside their comfort zones, and representing King’s College and the Generate Pegasus Cup so well throughout the trip.
