Will anyone like to make their own gel plates?
I plan to refresh my ones. I have a plate that has a cut in it that I am going to melt down and reform. I also want to make a large circle plate for making impressions on imperial sheet sized paper.
I'm happy to show people what I do, and maybe help others to make their own plate.

$10 per person to visit and watch what I'm up to

$30 + materials per person to participate and get to take your own plate home
the materials are not that cheap so your plate ends up being similar to commercial ones in the end. But the confidence to make your own means you won't have to throw away any that get damaged. You can also make your plates to the proportions for particular art projects you have in mind.
Makers Meet will be at 61 Vogel Street, Palmy, some time in the next few weeks based on evening/daytime preference of most who respond.
