New owners of Magic Garden

After an amazing 5.5 years at Magic Garden we’ve made the big decision to sell to Andrew Hambleton and his partner Gemma Ansty.

We bought Magic Garden as a place where Jamie, our autistic and intellectually disabled son, could work part time and be in a community which shared his interests. Unfortunately that vision hasn’t worked out well and we need to focus our time, energy and money on a new plan for Jamie (and our) future.

A huge thank you to all the parents, teachers, children, suppliers and supporters who have been part of our journey. This is a truly special place which brings joy to children and helps them realise their amazing potential.

All our staff are staying on under Andrews leadership and we are confident that the systems, brand and reputation built up over the last 25 years will carry on under their new guardianship.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of sharing our expertise with fellow educational professionals in partnership with ECE Learning Unlimited. By opening our doors, we empowered others to harness Magic Garden's collective knowledge, transforming theoretical concepts into tangible practices that enrich early childhood environments. Adrienne Thompson's insightful presentation showcased Magic Garden's 25-year journey, inspiring a collective commitment to nurturing young minds with Reggio Emilia.
