And ….exams are over!!!! Day 6 and final day today of a big week for our MAD team.

Well done to every dancer…we are so proud of every one of you! 🌟🌟🌟

Huge thanks to our fabulous, dedicated, hard-working team of teachers who prepared our dancers so well and with so much care so they could all perform to their best with confidence.

Nearly time to start into our favourite time of the year…..show preparations!!

WOW!! What a spectacle of outstanding highland dancing our NZ Championships were this past weekend at Whitehaven Theatre.

Grateful thanks to our MAD whānau plus friends and supporters who worked so hard over the four days and for many months in preparation to ensure this was a special and memorable event for every dancer to attend. It was fabulous!

To our dancers - we are not only proud of how you danced with such focus and determination to be your best, but also watching you support, encourage and applaud each other and your dance friends from all over NZ was truly rewarding. Well done MAD dancers.

WOW... our cups are absolutely overflowing after our incredible experience at KAIROS! ✨

Over the last couple of days, our dancers had the time of their lives learning from some of the industry’s most incredible choreographers. It was so refreshing to be in a space that wasn’t about competition, but about growth, connection, creativity, and discovering who they are as dancers and individuals - Huge shout out to ICEY who was named in the Top 15 dancers of the Intermediate section💫

On a personal note, I was so proud to complete my Certificate in Dance Teaching & Leadership over the weekend. Being inspired by the very best in the business and connecting with so many amazing women was truly something special!
I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity and feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by such knowledgeable, talented, passionate, and driven people. My heart is so full, and I can’t wait to bring everything I’ve learned back to our studio 🫶🏼

KAIROS—you are AMAZING! Alley, Ash and your incredible team… 🙌🏼🙌🏼

What an unforgettable experience. Here’s to growing, learning, and continuing to chase our dreams... LET’S GOOOO!! 💖

The hard work is done and we are ready to start dancing tomorrow at our 2026 NZ Highland and National Dancing Championships here in Blenheim this year at the fabulous Whitehaven Theatre.
Here are our MAD highland juniors at their pre-Champs afternoon tea at Small Town Winery.
We are so very proud of the months of hard work our dancers have put into preparing for this event. We can’t wait to see you all perform at your best and shine like the stars you are…Best of luck to every dancer, enjoy your weekend, have lots of fun doing what you love and connecting with your highland dance buddies from around the country. Go hard team MAD!
