Little champion hill walkers ⭐️

A current favourite and highly requested excursion for my wee ones.

They get such a sense of achievement when we get high enough to see ‘all the houses and cars!’

It’s amazing what little people can achieve when given the opportunity alongside encouraging words.

Colour Mixing 🌈

This activity was a hit for my little people.
The droppers promote strengthening the hand muscles- important for those heading off to school soon.
Plenty of colour based learning (and fun) was had.
We learnt about primary colours and how to make other colours from them.

After one of our little people suffered a broken leg and having a snazzy blue cast, we took the opportunity to learn about X-rays, bones and our bodies!
Light box and X-rays borrowed from In home childcare with Bethany THANK YOU!
We loved the bones song found on YouTube and successfully learnt the names of the two bones which our wee friend broke (fibula and tibia) thanks to books hired from the library.

This also lead to X themed activities in our prep for school books.
We love these learning experiences!

We found a great spot at the Slip in Cafe to spend our morning watching boats and eating morning tea along with some of our other Little Red Fox educators and friends.

Of course we found the playground which the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring.

We’ve been very absent on here (a whole year!) but we sure have been busy!

You may also notice the name change as mid year 2020 I changed my childcare provider to Little Red Fox ECE.
We especially love our high vis LRF vests we wear on all of our outings.
