We are back with more photos of our MW Tauira working hard in the workshop today working out how to dismantle pallets and turning them into more creations from scratch to Garden Furniture.

We are all go in the workshop today with the boys working on another project building a Dog house with Matua Rowan our Tutor showing our Tauira the instructions of measurements & using the power tools and hand tools just to get use of handling the materials that are being provided.

Our Mahi Whakaara Tauira are doing last touches of their 3 tier planter boxes a coat of Linseed oil to finish off their hard work of mahi that will give their project a clean finish.

Today we are focusing on their Paperwork as part of our course that covers BCATS about knowing how to create from using the materials and tools in the workshop.

Yesterday our Mahi Whakaara Tauira alongside of our Tutor Matua Rowan attended a workshop with the crew at Greenwood creating and chopping and making rolling pins as part of using old fashion tools.

I would like to thank the team at Greenwood for the opportunity for hosting us.

Yesterday our Mahi Whakaara Crew got stuck in at the Porirua MenzShed yesterday meeting the team during our visit.

We have Taika & Anton getting used to the Hand tools and how to handle them in the workshop.

Today the team are heading off to the Porirua MenzShed, 2a Upper Main Drive, Kenepuru, Porirua 5022
