"We’re taking part in the Big Sleep Out as a team from the local Green Party because we believe everyone deserves the dignity of a warm, safe, secure place to call home.
The funds we raise will stay local, supporting Crossroads and ManuOra, organisations that work directly alongside some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Every day they provide practical support, connection, and care to people experiencing hardship and housing insecurity.
While one night sleeping out cannot replicate the reality faced by those without stable housing, it is an opportunity to raise awareness, show solidarity, and help ensure local services have the resources they need to continue their vital work.
Together, we can help build a community where everyone has a place to belong and a safe place to sleep.
