Hey everyone! It’s been a great year with wonderful students I had the privilege of tutoring. You guys are amazing and I’m hoping and trusting for great results.
I am returning to teaching next year, and am very excited as I’ve learned so much in the process of tutoring. It does mean I will not be tutoring anymore though and it was sad to have to say goodbye to you all. Hope you have a wonderful Xmas and New Years and I am sure the advances you’ve made in your Maths learning this year will place you well equipped for the future!

Hi everyone! As we are approaching exams I know a lot of people are looking for tutoring options. Unfortunately my time is so limited, I wish I could help more! That is why I started developing online tutorial courses to offer another option. I know alot of kids don’t do well with online learning but something is better than nothing, especially when they can do it at their own pace! I’ve priced these courses quite low so that they can give one of the shorter courses a go to is if it’s helpful, without a big investment.
I’ve got an online algebra course aimed at the level 1 MCAT exam, although it’s also great for level 2. So if you’re looking for extra help with algebra, or know someone who is, have a look at this:

Hey everyone! I’ve been getting lots of enquiries for tutoring and I so so wish that I could help everyone and wish I had more time, but unfortunately at this stage my sessions are all booked up. So thanks for all those that are passing on my details, but letting you know that it will likely be a while before I have any after school sessions available as my waiting list is quite extensive now. However if anyone is home schooling, I’ve got plenty of time during school hours! :D

It’s been a difficult school year and I am sure many of our students are happy it’s over. It’s been great though to work with students online and continue helping them to grow in their knowledge and understanding of Maths. I hope you all have a well deserved Christmas and New Years! Here’s a handy tip for building your younger kids’ maths ability especially while learning from home. I highly recommend the show ‘number blocks’ on Netflix. Number manipulation is incredibly important in getting good at maths and this show really does well with building ideas on number manipulation in a way kids can grasp.My 4 and 6 year old both love it and will often do maths they’ve learned from it (eg yesterday my 4yo said ‘two fives makes 10!’, today my 6 year old says ‘36 divided by 6 is 6 because 36 is a square number’. When I ask him how he knows that he says ‘number blocks of course!’.
