OSCAR services are before/ after school and holiday programmes for school-aged children, up to the age of 13 years.

As you may have already heard we closing down this Friday 27th February at 5.30pm. We would like to thank all our parents/caregivers & children who have supported our services over the last 20 years.
We will be having a garage sale as shown below - everything must go. Thank yo.

Hi everyone, another term is almost over. We have now finalized our Holiday programme for the Spring break.
PLEASE NOTE - There is an extra $10 fee for the Zorb balls. To be paid either on or before the 24.09.25
REMEMBER - to bring Drink Bottle, lunch & morning tea (we supply afternoon tea) and in this changeable weather a change of clothes for those muddy slip overs (hopefully weather will be nice to us these holidays).
We are open from 6.30am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday during the holidays.
Enrollment & WINZ Subsidy (Thresholds have now changed and you may now be eligible) forms are available at Balclutha School hall during OSCAR hours Before and After school.

Hi Everyone, The Winter holiday programme is now available on AIMY for you to book your child/ren in. Please remember to include extra clothing in their bags due to wet & muddy conditions.
All children must bring a packed lunch/morning tea & a drink bottle. We provide afternoon tea.

Hi Everyone. Another Term almost over. The Autumn (April) 2025 Holiday Programme is now available for booking on AimyPlus.
Please make sure that children have a packed lunch (able to reheat food if required), Morning Tea and a Drink bottle. Also make sure that a full set of clothes are available for wet/muddy days to change into.

Hi, The December 2024, Special day 17/12/24 and January Summer Holiday programme is now ready to book. Please make sure children have DRINK BOTTLE, MORNING TEA & PACKED LUNCH EVERY DAY.
CHANGE OF CLOTHES as any day can be a WATERPLAY day during this holiday.
Please ensure that EXTRA FEE days are paid on or before the trip.

Hi, We will be closing this year on Friday 20th December 2024 (last day open) and will re-open on the Monday 6th January 2025. The holiday programme will run until the 27th January as most schools start Term 1 2025 on the 28th January 2025. Please make sure your bookings are done with a minimum time of 24 hours prior to your child attending (this is so we can ensure we have the correct staff/children ratios as per our policies). We cannot accept bookings on the day (unless an emergency call into work, etc), in this instance please phone 027 315 7253 to get an emergency booking if numbers permit.

We are not going to hold our monthly Parent/Staff meetings anymore. If you would like a one to one meeting with the Manager or Administrator please contact 027 315 7253 to book a time.

Hi Everyone
We are now into Term 4 so our Sunsafe policy is now in effect. We use the Warehouse brand 365 Sun screen, if you wish your child to use an alternative you will need to supply it with there name on it.
We have a limited number of sunhats which are shared so if you don't wish these to be used on your child please supply a hat which can be left in there bag. We are not part of Balclutha school so if they have hats for school they are not allowed to bring them from school to OSCAR.
Also please ensure that your child brings there drink bottle this term to avoid dehydration on the hotter days.

Hi Everyone. The Winter (July) 2024 Holiday programme is now available for booking. Please make sure your children have warm jackets & shoes for these cold days. NOTE: There is a $10 extra fee for the Cinema on the 15th July this needs to be paid on or before this date.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL CHILDRENS CLOTHING, DRINK BOTTLES AND LUNCHBOXES ARE NAMED, we usually get quite a few items left behind and have no way reuniting them with their owner if they are not named. Enjoy the long holiday this weekend.
