Last week Alicia Story (12SHD) has just gotten back from the Oceania Swimming Champs which were held in Suva, Fiji. There were 18 different countries competing including NZ, Australia, Tahiti, Samoa and the Cook Islands who Alicia was representing.

On the First day of competition Alicia won a bronze medal in the 200m Butterfly and her brother Jacob who was at Avondale College last year, also came away with a bronze medal in the 50m Butterfly.

Jacob went on to win 2 Gold medals in the Breaststroke events which were Oceania meet records and a silver in the 50m Breaststroke which was a World Aquatics B time. Jacob also won the top Male Swimmer award.

Millian travelled down to Christchurch the other day to defend her Gold Medal at the New Zealand Secondary School Fencing Championships, held at Pioneer Stadium.

Congratulations to Millian who won the final & has gone back to back to back (yes three titles) - we’re proud of you!

GAMES OF THE WEEK - HOCKEY 🌟

This Tuesday our boys team is up against Howick, and with their recent grade promotion they have been training hard to secure their first win of the season. 🥅 🏑

Meanwhile the girls team has had a near clean sweep of wins so far, and they hope to gain yet another victory against Rutherford this Wednesday. This game could place them at the top of the leaderboard! 🏆🥇
