While I was tucking into some chicken, rolls and salad at the start of this week Ralph Towner- one of THE greatest acoustic- scrap that- greatest GUITAR players of all time- quietly passed away aged 85 in Rome where he'd been living for the last 30 or so years. Too many guitarists are called "great" without really being deserving of this accolade and don't get the recognition in life they should. I'll just leave this here.
