🎓✨ Congratulations, Whangārei graduates! ✨🎓
Yesterday we celebrated an amazing group of students from our Whangārei Campus as they graduated with their New Zealand Certificate in Tourism (Level 3), with a strand in Tourism and Travel. 🌏✈️
What makes this celebration even more special is that this incredible group isn’t stopping here! 💙 They’re continuing their Level 4 studies with ITC, with some amazing plans ahead as they work towards their career goals, exciting international exchanges and opportunities around the world. 🌍✨
It was such a special day, filled with so much aroha, pride, laughter and celebration. We couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of you and everything you’ve achieved.

🌺 What a beautiful way to finish Tongan Language Week! 🇹🇴❤️
Our amazing Tongan girls from our Botany Campus students treated us to a delicious afternoon of homemade pancakes and ice cream 🥞🍦 and even more special, one of our students shared a beautiful Tongan dance with us. 💃🏽✨
It was such a lovely opportunity to celebrate their culture, share kai, and enjoy a little time together. We’re so proud of our students for sharing their traditions and making our ITC community even more special. 🫶🏽

Are you ready to turn your love of travel into a career?
Your next step could start on 31 August at ITC’s Auckland City Campus.
The New Zealand Certificate in Travel Level 4 is designed for anyone who wants to build the skills and knowledge needed for a career in the travel, tourism or airline industries.
With a strong international focus, you’ll learn about destinations and travel markets around the world, while gaining practical experience with industry tools such as AMADEUS reservations, fares and ticketing.
You’ll also get involved in practical activities, industry visits, guest speakers and familiarisation trips, plus receive support preparing for employment and work experience.
And if working overseas is on your bucket list, completing Level 4 on campus can also open the door to opportunities such as ITC’s Disney Cultural Exchange Program pathway.
If a career where no two days are quite the same sounds like you, now’s a great time to get started. You could graduate in as little as 21 weeks!

What if one Friday a week changed what you thought your future could look like?
For Year 12 and 13 students who are curious about travel and tourism, this is your chance to explore this exciting industry before finishing high school.
The 2027 Te Tai Tokerau Business of Tourism Academy is all about getting beyond the classroom. Think hands-on learning, industry visits, guest speakers and meeting people already working in tourism.
And you never know where that first step might lead. One former Academy student went on to study full-time with ITC and eventually headed overseas to work at Disney!

🌟 ITC Study from Home Student of the Month – Terri Osborn! 🌟
We’re delighted to celebrate Terri Osborn, our latest Study From Home Student of the Month! 🎉
Terri is currently studying our Level 4 Certificate in Travel, working towards her goal of becoming a travel consultant. ✈️
Her tutor, Toni, describes Terri as an outstanding communicator and excellent researcher, who is always learning, asking questions and striving to get her work accurate and professional, qualities that are incredibly important in the travel industry.
Studying from home takes self-motivation, commitment and plenty of organisation, and Terri has shown all of these throughout her studies. Her curiosity and determination to produce work to a high standard are a fantastic reflection of the effort she puts into her learning.
