Our toddlers explored Lego blocks, a cooperative fishing game, and throwing balls at our sticky ring target.

Beyond the giggles, these games are teaching the big, important skill of turn-taking. Hearing them proudly negotiate their play with "My turn, please!" supports the Contribution (Mana Tangata) strand of Te Whāriki as they learn to play alongside others.

Plus, all that building, aiming, and catching is excellent for their physical development (Exploration | Mana Aotūroa).

For the past few weeks our toddlers @ Li’l Champs, Papatoetoe had the best time exploring puppets, building language, fine motor skills, and lots of giggles along the way.
