This week we have loved getting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. We had a wonderful time playing in our splash pad, practicing our climbing skills, and building with our blocks.

This week in the Pohutukawa room we have been loving getting messy while painting with cars, we had a great time riding our bikes, climbing and jumping on the trampoline.

This week we also celebrated one of our friends first birthday!!

This week in the Pohutukawa room we have enjoyed getting outside in the beautiful weather, we have enjoyed having fun transporting sand in the sandpit, building with blocks. We have also enjoyed having some quiet moments sitting and reading books together.

Ni Hao

Happy Chinese language week everyone!!
Over the last 2 weeks the Pāua Room children have been diving deep into spring and everything that comes with the changing of the season.
In connection with our local community we were so kindly donated 2 boxes of little garden seedlings from New World Kumeu to plant and boy have we been busy.
We also created some amazing rainbows that are up on our spring display board.
We have also started our Diwali celebrations a little early and made Mango Lassi, they were delicious!!!! Next week we will be making chapattis to have with our curry at lunch time!!!!

This week we enjoyed celebrating daffodil day with a yellow dress up day. We have also enjoyed getting creative with different paints and crayons. Getting outside and enjoying the weather has been a hit this week, practicing our jumping skills on the trampoline and our balancing across the playground.

Today in the Kōwhai room the tamariki have been soaking up the sun and playing outside in the sandpit making sandcastle and cooking away in the outdoor kitchen.
We have also enjoyed playing inside in our family corner.

Today in the Pāua Room we celebrated one of our beautiful friends who has graduated and is off to begin their new learning journey at primary school.
During this Hui time we shared their amazing portfolio consisting of the incredible things that have happened over the course of their time with us at Just Kidz. We shared some very special compliments and things we would miss about our amazing friend and of course topped it off with a special playdough cake with 5 candles!
Every time one of our friends leaves for school we miss them alot, but we know they are ready and will achieve whatever they set their minds and hearts to. 💕
