A Big Thank You to Our Local Firefighters!

Last night at 7.00pm, Mr H hosted firefighters from Papakura, Patumahoe and Waiau Pa at Te Hihi School for a training evening.
In total, five fire engines and more than 30 firefighters attended. The teams worked through a range of scenarios, familiarised themselves with our school site and considered how they would respond should an emergency ever occur at Te Hihi.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to these incredible people who do such an important job in our community. Many of our local firefighters are volunteers who generously give up their own time to train, respond to emergencies and help keep our community safe.
