Yesterday, a group of students visited the Auckland Art Gallery where they explored a variety of contemporary and historical artworks, including Māori art. The experience helped students explore the creative expressions, stories and heritage that have shaped New Zealand and beyond.
It was a good way to connect with fellow students, learn more about art and culture, and take a refresher during the busy term. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and we look forward to seeing you at our next student event!

Congratulations to our EIT Auckland graduates who have celebrated their graduation today!
More than 200 EIT graduates took to the stage at the Aotea Centre today, celebrating their achievements across two ceremonies, including 186 master’s graduates crossing the stage. In her first Auckland graduation as Chief Executive, Lucy Laitinen acknowledged the resilience and sacrifices of learners, many of whom balanced study with work, family, or life in a new country. Reflecting on the whakataukī, Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini (My strength is not mine alone, but the strength of many), she highlighted the collective support behind every graduate, with special recognition given to valedictorians Komal Saddi and Vinodh Dharmarajah.
