Level One may have opened a doorway… but Living Level One is where those teachings begin to breathe through your everyday life.

This training is for those who have already experienced ISTA Level One and feel the call to embody the work—not only during extraordinary moments, but in the beauty, messiness and magic of ordinary life.

This gathering marks a rare moment in the unfolding story of ISTA the International School of Temple Arts. Across its history, only three trainings have been devoted entirely to q***r people and finds its home upon the ancient whenua (Land) of Aotearoa. This is more than geography. It is relationship. The land upon which we gather is not the backdrop to this work. It is the first participant within it.

ISTA, The International School of Temple Arts stands at the meeting place of three ancient forces: Spirit, Sexuality and the Shamanic. Throughout history they have inspired devotion and division, liberation and oppression, creation and destruction.

They are neither benevolent nor dangerous in themselves. They reveal, without compromise, the consciousness of those who enter them.

Every emotion has its or**sm All human feelings have an or**sm. Pleasure has the or**sm we commonly think of when we use the word. But all other emotions have an or**sm too. This is an exploration of the or**sm of joy, sadness, anger, fear, disgust and all the other emotions...

After an ISTA training ends, something shifts. The experience settles a bit, and life picks up again in its familiar rhythms. Integration happens in its own time.

For many, the connection doesn’t end there.

The ISTA Community Sharing Circle is a space to reconnect, no matter where people are.

It’s open to all ISTA graduates. There’s no set agenda. Some people come to share, others to listen, others just to be there for a while. Sometimes it’s quiet. Sometimes more expressive. Breath, sound, and movement are all welcome.

Each circle is held live and isn’t recorded.

For some, it’s become a regular place to reconnect. A way to be with others who get it.
