One day, during my first year of high school, I saw a boy from my class heading home carrying a huge stack of books. His name was Carlo. I immediately thought, “Who takes all their books home on a Friday? He must be a real nerd…”
I had the perfect weekend planned—a party, a soccer match, laughs with friends—so I kept walking and didn’t give him much thought.
A moment later, I saw a group of boys running toward him. They shoved him hard, knocking him to the ground. His books went flying everywhere. His glasses landed in the grass. When he looked up, I saw a sadness in his eyes so deep that my heart tightened.
I walked over right away. He was on his hands and knees, searching for his glasses with trembling hands. I handed them to him and said, “Those guys are real losers… they should get a life.”
He looked at me with a smile I will never forget—grateful, genuine.
I helped him pick up his books, and we discovered we lived close to each other. He told me he had gone to a private school until then. We talked for a long time. I invited him to join us for a game that afternoon. He accepted.
That weekend, we became friends. My parents welcomed him with open arms, too.
On Monday, I saw him again with that big stack of books. I smiled and said, “You’re going to build some serious muscles carrying all that!”
He laughed and handed me half the load.
Over the next four years, we were inseparable. I dreamed of soccer and business; he dreamed of medicine. We were different, but bound by something stronger than words.
Carlo was the top student in our class. I teased him by calling him “nerd,” but always with affection. At the graduation ceremony, he was chosen to give the speech. He looked elegant—but there was something in his eyes.
I said to him, “Come on, champ, you’ll do great!”
He replied with a smile that seemed to say more than a thousand words.
He stepped onto the stage and said:
“Today I want to thank those who helped me through some very difficult years. My parents. My teachers. But above all… a friend.”
He told the story of the day we met. He said that weekend he had decided to end his life. He had cleaned out his locker so his mother wouldn’t have to. He was taking everything home.
Then he looked at me and said:
“I am here today because of a friend who, with a simple gesture, saved my life.”
The silence in the room was heavy with emotion. People held their breath. His parents looked at me with tears in their eyes.
In that moment, I truly understood how much power even the smallest gesture can have. A smile. A word. A helping hand. They can save a life—truly.
Never underestimate the impact of your actions.
God puts people in our path for a reason. It’s up to us to recognize it.
Now you have two choices:
You can share this story.
Or you can let it pass as if nothing happened.
I chose to share it.
Because friends are angels who lift us up when our wings forget how to fly.
There is no beginning and no end.
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift.
And I wish you a life full of wonderful gifts—
and the strength, every single day, to be the miracle in someone else’s life.

Hi Folks. In 1996, I joined 4 friends on a magical trip to England, Scotland, Paris, and Switzerland. So the stage was set.
It was so magical and wetted my appetite to travel as much as I could, whenever I could. The 3 years in Covid lockdown sure wetted my appetite, as who knows what is "around the corner". Trust me, I myself sure did not after a deck rail giving way, and I fell (10 feet) with a concrete block following me to "connect with my head." ( no comments please...😜) But our bodies are amazing, they heal, and so it has for myself.
I see I have organized and taken over 20 overseas tours. One person has traveled with me 5 times....( I keep records) And soon my husband and I are off to Thailand on a 12-day LUXURYESCAPE PACKAGE. Transfer to the resort and return to the airport. All B plus either lunch or dinners".. Plus 2 hour free-flow "Happy Hour".AND 2 x 1-hour massages EACH. All taxes. fees and handling charges, fast pass immigration, personal guide, and local taxes. Lounge Access and entry admission into Phuket Airport. All we need to do is the TIPPING, at "The Haven Khao Lak Resort, in Khao Lak.
(TripADeal also do packages.) So thought as I thought few I would tell you about them. They sure asve me some work.
WOULD YOU ALSO LIKE TO BE TRAVELING WHILE YOU CAN?
SEND ME AN EMAIL AND PLACES you WOULD LIKE OT VISIT AND AS I AM ALWAYS KEEPING AN EYE OUT FOR SUCH AMAZING DEALS AND ALSO TAKEN GROUPS [S OVERSEAS, SEND ME AN EMAIL AND REQUEST...I send ALL TRAVEL DETAILS AND OFFERS THAT LAND ON MY SCREEN.
As I did my 8th tour back to Egypt, I will not be going back. ( a few reasons why, but what an amazing group.) A couple have asked, "Where to next, Gail?.... At the moment, I am thinking Mexico is called and Miguel ( Uni lecturer on the Mayan Culture) has voiced his desire to take me back to Yaxchilan....for a reason that blew my mind, (and his!).
I take only small groups, and many have traveled with me many times. Names taken now and where YOU would like to go.
I am also off on a cruise under a friend's ( Australian) umbrella, as a 3-day conference will fill in the 3 days at sea.(9th - 19th June 2026 ) I am not a lover of cruises, but life is precious, so making each month experience something to excite me and to look forward to. So birthday cake at sea next yera ( 16th June)
So what is your excitement are you looking forward to sharing with us? Send me an email with your name if you would like to go on my list ...or even advertise YOUR tour you are organising...LOVE to know about it as I LOVE traveling with like-minded, fun-loving...people. Better get to work as I should be packing! Phuket, here I come.

Hi everyone
Well, so good to be travelling again. Just back from Australia ( Cairns - Brisbane) and as Egylt, last year was my 8th, group... I have decided time to explore another country. Read on if your feet are getting itchy.....
Many years ago, I joined a large group to explore India and trek to the top of the Ganges (from India's side.) It was amazing. India is a vibrant, busy, and full of amazing sites to explore and visit.
Popped up on my screen is a tour that is so reasonable ( under $2000.00...depending on single or room mate etc.), sure has caught my eye.
As I have been to Peru and Mexico many times, and India now twice, my memories flooded back to the noise, the people, and the amazing places we visited was a memory not to forget.
This has awakened in me the 2 visits to this vibrant, full-on country...where everything is so reasonable ( even tummy tucks, plastic surgery etc...) I felt my heart race and thought...as been and taken 7 groups to Egypt, what about India, Mexico, also calls me, so my feet are itching like crazy.
IF you would like to get on my list to be informed of my tours I organize and take, please send me an email on [email protected] to add your name to the list of people wishing to also travel and explore our beautiful world we call "home".
My email is [email protected] for only a show of interest, and I can assure you that you will get value for money. I also offer to do work while on the tour. One person has traveled with me many times.....and asking, "Where next, Gail?" So yes, I also only take small groups and India will be a smaller group for the reason India is SO FULL ON....so easier to get through crowds and more personal...so 6-12 will be the limit. Show of interest and will be at a huge discount as advertised by a company....so who wishes to join me on my 3rd trip to India...
( One can add plastic surgery on as my experience was amazing....a tummy tuck as having 2 babies sure made me have "3 spare tyres". Another one had neck and face, and 3rd lady also had a tummy tuck and a scar removed..... )
Feel free to call me as these deals do not last....and the one to India just landed on my screen is amazing....
My email is [email protected] Auckland, NZ (09) 535 4065 Overseas folk all welcome.
Gail Nicholls....ND DipClinHyp. LBL Practitioner ( Life between Lives and a free 5-hour session to
those who enquire and join up. BUT SMALL NOS..
(I have organized from 1996, taken over 25 tours...so I am not past airplane food yet! (While on tour, I also "work." ETC..))

Good morning everyone. Good to be home after visiting family, and it was beyond words. Life is too busy and full on, so the 2 weeks went fast, and now I have many amazing memories in my mind. Now home and found someone (name provided from USA ) has sent me an email report regarding my book.....
(so thank you for taking the time to comment on it on Facebook. )
(First 3 replies here with email address I will send to your computer a copy.)y also find it interesting....ony 400+ pages.
Dear Gail,
First of all, thank you for writing "Who Are You?: So What is Your Reality?"—what a profound and eye-opening journey it has been. As I turned each page, I felt like I was in conversation with a wise guide, gently inviting me to explore the deeper layers of who I am and why I’m here.
Your questions—Who are you? Why did you choose this lifetime? Did we really choose our family, our friends?—were not just prompts for reflection. They felt like keys unlocking parts of my soul that had been waiting to be seen. The way you weaved reincarnation, spiritual identity, memory, and purpose into one cohesive and approachable narrative was both grounding and expansive.
You have a beautiful way of presenting complex spiritual truths without overwhelming the reader. It felt deeply personal, yet universal—like a conversation between souls across time.
I appreciate how your words don’t dictate a truth but rather hold space for us, the readers, to remember our own. That’s rare. It’s not just a book, it’s a remembering. I walked away not with all the answers, but with better questions—and a quieter mind."

Okay. A bit naughty but clever. So if you do not have a sense of humour, don't watch, but it sure made me giggle as it is clever..
