Kia ora whānau,
A friendly reminder that Term 1 wraps up this Thursday 2nd April, school will finish early at 2pm.
Our last assembly for the term will be hosted by room 14, starting at 1pm. Please note with our school hall closed until further notice, Thursday's assembly will instead be held on the deck outside the Performing Arts hall.

Due to the wild weather Tāmaki Makaurau is currently experiencing, the Chaucer Family Night has been cancelled.
This decision was not made lightly and want to thank our wonderful Chaucer whānau for their ongoing support and understanding.
Stay safe whānau.

A big thank you to those who came to our first School Grounds Group Chat yesterday! With a small yet mighty group, we were able to have some really valuable discussions around what our whānau would like to see around our school grounds.
If you’re interested in being part of future chats or to get involved with upcoming projects, keep an eye on our newsletter for updates 💛
Have a good idea but missed the meeting?! Don’t worry! Share in the comments below what you would like to see in our school grounds.

The rain and clouds didn’t stop our incredible Chaucer Community from coming down to our Whānau Night last night.
With a great performance from our tamariki and many activities for all who attended - it’s safe to say that our night was a great success!
A big thank you to all our staff who organised this great evening. A special thanks to our board and parents who were helping out on the night along with a heartfelt thanks to Blockhouse Bay Woolworths who generously donated bread and fruit baskets towards our evening. 🥳
Last but not least, thank you to all that joined us and made the night what it was.
