🍲SALMON MISO POWER BOWL

INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2)
* 2 salmon fillets
(150g each)
* 1 cup cooked brown rice
* ½ avocado, sliced
* ½ cucumber, ribboned
* 1 medium carrot, ribboned
* ½½ cup edamame (shelled)
* 2 sheets nori, cut into strips
* 2 tbsp white miso paste
* 1 tbsp sesame oil
* 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
* 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
* 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
* 1 tbsp sesame seeds
* 2 spring onions, sliced

METHOD
1. Whisk together miso, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger and honey to make the glaze.
2. Coat salmon fillets in half
the glaze. Pan-fry over
medium-high heat for 3-4
min each side until
caramelised and just cooked through.
3. Meanwhile, warm edamame in boiling water for 2 min; drain.
4. Divide rice between two bowls. Arrange avocado, cucumber ribbons, carrot ribbons, edamame and and nori strips around the bowl.
5. Flake or place salmon fillet on top. Drizzle remaining miso glaze over everything.
6. Finish with sesame seeds
7. and spring onion. Serve immediately.

Prep tip: Make a double batch of the miso glaze and keep it in the fridge for up to a week - it works brilliantly on roasted vegetables, tofu, or as a salad dressing. For a lower-carb option, swap brown rice for cauliflower rice without losing any of the flavour.

Bit of a belated post but Congratulations to Kara for taking out top spot in the recent 6 Week challenge.

💪🏽1.9% body fat decrease, including 19.8 point subcutaneous and 7 visceral

Taught by moi, Evana, who you may know as your local Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor, but I am also an Award Winning, Qualified Makeup artist, with 25 years of experience and Winner of the Max Factor Makeup Artist Search’, teaching individuals and groups makeup application both NZ Nationwide and Internationally.

This isn’t your typical “sit and watch” class.. it’s hands-on, fun, and packed with pro tips; teaching you a step by step system you’ll actually use to create a natural day look and then transform into a wearable evening glamour look.

You’ll walk away with new skills, more confidence, and maybe a few new girlfriends too.
Optional to stay for a cheeky wine after!

Please bring ALL the makeup you have; all those bits and pieces thrown to the back of your bathroom drawers, and I’ll teach you how to use it!
I will have a small makeup kit you can dive into if needed.
