Congratulations to Eva Slinn who competed in her first College Series event at Extreme Edge Mt Wellington on Sunday, taking on 30 climbs in a fast-paced 1.5-hour round alongside over 100 competitors.

She completed 15 climbs and flashed challenging Level 19 and 20 routes where she set new PBs 👏

A great first competition where she gained valuable experience and finished 31st overall. Awesome effort Eva!

The College Sport Auckland Athletics Championships were held over two days this year, on Tuesday 17th and Thursday 19th March at Mt Smart Stadium.

A huge congratulations to our two students who qualified and represented our school with pride, achieving outstanding results:

Isabella Snedden
🥉 3rd Place – 1500m (Junior Girls)
🥈 2nd Place – 3000m (Junior Girls)

Congratulations to our Year 9 Student Athlete Isabella Snedden!
Isabella has been selected in the Auckland Secondary Schools Team to compete at the NISS Athletics Championships on the 28th & 29th March at Massey Park. We wish her the best of luck!

Congratulations to Year 10 Student Athlete Mila Bayly!
Mila Bayly recently represented Marist College in the MTB Auckland Schools Funduro Series back in February and achieved an impressive 4th place overall in her very first race!
She is now gearing up for her next competition, the College Sport Shredder Series Round 3, taking place on 19th April. We wish Mila all the very best for her upcoming race – go get ’em!

Cricket
Inspiring start to Marist 1st XI season under captain Abigail. Opposition has been tough but tenacious bowling, timely batting and reactive fielding has solidified a strong bond within this team.
Come support the team when they play MAGS next Wednesday at 4.15pm

Dragon Boating
The team are locked in at trainings and our timing and technique are improving each session.
It will be an exciting race day on Sunday 15th March at Lake Pupuke.
