Providing invaluable support, resources, & skills, for positive outcomes, fostering holistic wellbeing for thriving physically, emotionally & mentally The Centre is a safe, women only space where women can call in to meet with other women or representatives from other agencies as required. The Centre staff work towards and with women to support, empower and inform and their core values are equality and empowerment for all women.

Here’s what’s happening at Women’s Centre Rodney this week 💜

Another good mix of practical, creative and supportive things happening across Warkworth and Wellsford.

Meals for Mums is happening this Tuesday 8th September- Wellsford Community Centre. 10am-1.30pm.

Can you help us cook a big batch of meals for the mums in our community?
Do you know a mum that would love a meal for their freezer?
Can you write a positive note to go with the meal?
The big cook will be followed by eating the meal together at 12pm.

The “I’m fine” woman, the “I need a cuppa” woman, the “I need a hug” woman… or our personal favourite - the “I’m just popping in” woman who’s somehow still here 90 minutes later. 😂

Week 2 of WOW - You’re Worth It

A lovely catch-up last night to see how everyone’s week had gone, revisit our 4 I’s of Self-Worth and introduce our BESTA tool.

And… turns out we absolutely NAILED our individual mindful challenges

Lots of sharing, a few laughs, some good conversations and plenty to think about before next week.

Not saying we’ve got it all sorted after two weeks… but we’re working on it

Loved the creativity filling the Centre yesterday afternoon

Emma’s Paint Your Cup session was buzzing - one of those lovely afternoons with plenty of conversation, creativity and people happily getting stuck in.

And the feedback says it better than we could:

“Best facilitator ❤️ Can’t wait for the next one! So supportive and helpful.”

Others left feeling energised, connected and proud -
which is exactly why we love hosting sessions like these.
