We headed to the movies and had so much fun watching the gruffalo story come to life on the big screen. What a special day out! 🤎✨

Our Kutai tamariki are off to the movies soon to watch The Gruffalo, so what better way to get excited than by making our very own Gruffalo crumble! 😋

Our tamariki had so much fun exploring Filipino Culture as we celebrated Filipino Language Week. Learnt different traditional Filipino Costumes, games, music and folk dances, as well as Awiting Pambata (Children's Song) and Food.
We thank our whanau for sharing their plates from home with Jojos (Pandesal, Ube Halaya (Purple Yam) and Maja Blanca). Thanks to our Filipino Kaiako who shared their “Masarap na mga Pagkain”.

We incorporate mathematics through play at Jojo’s! Using measuring beakers, bowls and spoons, children explored counting, filling and pouring while developing their understanding of volume, all through hands-on fun! ✨

Mirror, Mirror! Using mirrors as a teaching tool, our Paua tamariki carefully observed their reflections before recreating their faces using wool, sticks, buttons, and googly eyes 🪞
