Come and explore our little piece of paradise at Stanmore Bay Kindergarten 🌿✨
Our Stay & Play sessions are the perfect way for tamariki aged 2+ to discover, play, and become familiar with the kindergarten environment before starting. With inviting spaces, caring kaiako, and plenty of opportunities for fun and exploration, it’s a lovely way for whānau to connect and feel at home.

Charlotte has been a kaiako at Stanmore Bay Kindergarten for the past eight years, after spending many years as a new entrant primary school teacher. Her teaching superpowers are enthusiasm and encouragement.
Charlotte believes every child deserves to feel heard, seen, and significant. She values each child for who they are and where they come from, and works to create a learning environment where every child feels a strong sense of belonging.
She loves modelling the excitement of learning something new and helping children understand that learning is a journey to be enjoyed. Charlotte is passionate about providing a wide variety of resources and experiences that encourage children to explore the world around them and, in their own time, discover their interests and passions.
Above all, Charlotte loves learning alongside children and believes that fun, curiosity, and connection are at the heart of meaningful learning.

The whānau at Stanmore Bay Kindergarten are joining the Pink Shirt Day movement along with many other Kiwi’s by sharing simple messages of kindness in te reo Māori that you too can send to a friend, family member or colleague to brighten their day. 💗
We are encouraging our tamariki to wear pink this Friday the 15th of May to help raise the awareness of the importance of kindness, inclusion, and standing together against bullying, a strong part of our kaupapa and philosophy.🌸
Remember, kindness has real impact — even a few encouraging words can make a difference. And what better way to share that kindness than through our beautiful reo.
Together we Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora
Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying! 🤝✨
Let’s continue to spread positivity, inclusion, and care — not just today, but every day.

🌟Celebrating 15 Years of Our Administrator & Support Kaimahi Extraordinaire! 🌟
Today we are shining a light on a very special member of our kindergarten whānau, who has been part of our team for an incredible 15 years 💐
With her fantabulous administrative skills and a wicked sense of humour, she is truly the heartbeat of our place. Whether she’s welcoming new whānau, finding a space for your tamaiti in our little piece of paradise, or seamlessly pivoting between admin mahi and supporting our kaiako and tamariki — she does it all with warmth and ease 💛
She has a magic way of making everyone feel at home. You’ll often find her sharing a laugh with tamariki as they enjoy their kai, helping to spark their own sense of humour and joy ✨
We are so grateful for her dedication, her kindness, and the aroha she brings to our kindergarten every single day.
Ngā mihi nui for 15 amazing years — we are so lucky to have you! 💖
