Kia ora whānau,

As we head into winter, we are looking to grow our Relievers Pool at Gumboots 😊

We would love to hear from both qualified and unqualified relievers who may be keen to join our casual team.

✨ Casual / flexible work
✨ Supporting our teaching team across multiple rooms
✨ Gumboots is open 7am–6pm

This may include supporting tamariki and teachers across different age groups, helping with routines, play, supervision and general classroom support.

We’re looking for warm, reliable, friendly people who enjoy being part of a busy team and supporting our tamariki and whānau 💛

As we come to the end of Mother’s Day, we hope all of our Gumboots mums, māmā, grandmothers, aunties, caregivers and special people have had a beautiful day being celebrated. 💐

Today is about celebrating the love, care, patience and warmth you give every day — often in a million little ways that can go unseen.

To all of the wonderful māmā in our Gumboots whānau, thank you for trusting us with your precious babies. It is such a privilege to be part of their days as they grow, learn, explore and shine.

We hope you have felt loved and appreciated today.

🌿 We’re Hiring – Office Administrator (Gumboots ELC)

Kia ora whānau,

We have an exciting opportunity coming up at Gumboots 😊

We’re now looking for a new Office Administrator to join our team.
✨ 4 days per week (8.30-3)
✨ A mix of admin + stock order and control and covering lunches in the classrooms.

The role includes:
• Enrolments, attendance & records (Infocare)
• Invoicing, payments & accounts (Xero)
• Month-end processing & parent queries
• Stock, order and deliveries of consumables
• Supporting our teaching team in the classroom (lunch cover + time in rooms)


We’re looking for someone who is organised, people-focused, confident with systems, and enjoys being part of a team supporting our tamariki and whānau 💛

This is a really special role at the heart of our centre.
