We at Awhi Whanau would like to acknowledge the passing of one of our centres dearest friend Robyn Lawrence who was the co-founder with Thelma Chapman of Awhi Whanau Early Childhood Centre in about 2004 till it opened in 2006. She was a great support and mentor to all who crossed her path and continued to be a part of the centre life through times of ill health that recently saw her slowly taking a step back as part of her recovery. We remember her as a strong, fit, knowledgable and resilient woman who will be sadly missed. Our Aroha and sympathy goes to her husband Gordon, their children and grandchildren as they mourn the loss of their precious loved one. Arohanui Dorothy, Tiffiny, Nikki, Louana, Bonnie,Christina, Huahana and Koro Dan.
