Our Casa team enjoyed a fun and creative team-building experience together – painting on cakes!🎂✨

It was a lovely opportunity for everyone to relax, get creative, share lots of laughs, and enjoy some quality time together outside of our daily routines.

Strong teams are built through connection, communication, and shared experiences. We are grateful for our wonderful Casa team and the positive energy everyone brings to our centre each day. 💛

And of course, the best part was getting to enjoy our edible artwork afterwards! 😋🍰

🌟 Celebrating Matariki at Casa🌟

We had a wonderful time celebrating Matariki – the Māori New Year together at Casa! ✨

Throughout our Matariki learning, our tamariki explored Māori culture and traditions, learning about Matariki and its meaning of reflection, connection, and looking forward to the year ahead. The children also created their own beautiful wishing stars, sharing their hopes and wishes for the future. ⭐

To make the celebration even more special, we invited our families to join us for a lovely shared plates afternoon tea. Our tamariki proudly performed Māori songs for their whānau, filling the centre with music, smiles, and a wonderful sense of togetherness. 🎶💛

It was such a special opportunity to celebrate, connect with our whānau, and enjoy this meaningful time together.

🐴🌿 A wonderful day at Casa with the Mobile Farm! 🐐🐰

Our tamariki had an amazing time meeting friendly farm animals, including ponies, goats, llamas, pigs, rabbits, and chickens. They loved patting, feeding, and learning about each animal up close.

The highlight of the day was pony riding! While some children felt a little nervous at first, they showed wonderful courage by giving it a try or enjoying the experience by watching and interacting with the animals.

What a fun day filled with smiles, confidence, and hands-on learning! 💚

A Special Storytime with Avondale Library

We were delighted to welcome the wonderful team from Avondale Library to Casa Montessori Preschool for a special storytime session! 📖✨

The children loved listening to the engaging stories, singing together, and exploring the wonderful books they kindly brought along. It was a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love of reading and spark their imagination.

🦖 Roarrr! Our Dinosaur Project Learning! 🦕

What a roaring adventure we've had! Our tamariki explored the fascinating world of dinosaurs through hands-on activities, including dinosaur matching, art, fossil digging, and creating their own dinosaur headbands. 🦴🎨

The highlight was a special visit from Natasha at Auckland Museum, where the children learned about dinosaurs and even touched real fossils! What an unforgettable experience! ✨

A huge thank you to Natasha and Auckland Museum for inspiring our curious little learners. We can't wait for our next adventure! 💚
