Tālofa lava! 🇼🇸 Samoan Language Week is officially HERE!

But you know we can’t celebrate without a little action! We’re taking it to the field to honor our roots with some traditional favourites like Lape (Samoan softball/baseball) and Samoan Cricket. ✨

Welcome to Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa (Samoan Language Week) 🇼🇸🌺

The theme this year is E afua mai i mauga tetele manuia o le nu'u" (From the high mountains are the blessings of the village) - A beautiful reminder that language, wisdom, and blessings are gifted from our elders and leaders and flow down to sustain our communities and families.

To start of the week, we have translated our school values into the Samoan language. ❤️💙💛

Last Friday and Saturday, four MRGS students (Ekamjeet Banga, Hosanna Molla, Neha Devi, and Katrina Ha) represented the proud nation of Paraguay at the Model United Nations at Rosmini College. 🌍✨

Model United Nations is an incredible educational simulation where students act as diplomats to tackle the world's most pressing challenges. 🌐

Well done to our students and thank you to Mr Harris for his support!

🏆 Campus Pride: The Roskill Challenge Success! 🏆

Our students brought massive energy, grit, and unstoppable school spirit to the Roskill Campus Challenge! This incredible cross-campus event brought together the MacLean Centre, the Endeavour Centre (MRPS), and the Tennyson Centre (MRIS) for an epic day of teamwork and physical fun. 💪✨

From testing skills to showcasing pure strength, everyone gave it 100% across all the stations:
🕸️ The Cargo Scramble Net – A true test of agility!
🏃‍♂️ The Tyre Run – Fast footwork and perfect balance.
⚽ Hunger Ball – A high-energy favourite that kept everyone on their toes.
🎯 Throw Accuracy – Precision and focus at its finest.

The action didn’t stop at the finish line, either! Once the courses were cleared, the energy shifted to the dance floor for an electric celebration dance-off. 💃🕺

A massive thank you to our amazing MRGS Prefects! Your leadership and support kept the day running safely and smoothly. ❤️
