We would like to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible support of our community after our recent Craft Beer & Wine Night. With well over $17000 raised for new play areas on the Junior Side, the event was a HUGE success.

What an incredible morning! Today we gathered as a community to celebrate Matariki with delicious soup and bread, and our hearts (and bellies) are absolutely full. 🌅✨

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us to share food, stories, and connection. A special, heartfelt shoutout goes to our amazing Senior Kapa Haka group, who led the event with such passion, pride, and mana. You set the perfect tone for the year ahead!

Seeing our community come together to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and look to the future is exactly what Matariki is all about.

Meadowbank School students had a blast celebrating Chinese Language Week! The school invited Erhu and Beijing Opera experts to host cultural workshops, where students learned about the history of these traditional art forms and even gave them a try. Additionally, each class got hands-on with traditional crafts—including dragon drawing, lantern making, fan crafting, and paper cutting—which are now beautifully displayed in the classrooms.

We are counting down the days until our Craft Beer & Wine Night Fundraiser, and the excitement is palpable! Last night of discounted tickets on Kindo is Thursday evening - there will also be door sales on the evening,
