Ranui Community Centre Playgroup

Good morning everyone.

Sadly Alaina is not feeling 100% so she won't be attending as Playgroup Coordinator today. I am also unable to attend due to other commitments, so today's playgroup will be run as a parent-led session. Please feel free to take toys out into the big room, and then pack them away for us at the end of the session.

If you have any questions at all please see Irene in the office.

Hey everyone! Just a reminder that the Ranui Community Centre reopens tomorrow Monday the 19th of January, so Playgroup and Music are starting up again this week.

Sessions run from 0930-12pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with a Music and Movement class running from around 0930 for about half an hour on the Tuesday. Outside of that time we have a variety of play items for child-led and parent supervised free-play.

Please remember to supervise your children at all times, and it's always appreciated if you tidy up whatever your child/children have been playing with once they've moved on. This is a great help when we are packing up at the end of the day. Please also remember to encourage your children to play with all toys gently and respectfully.

Any eating happens at our outside tables please.

Good morning everyone :).

I am sick today but never fear - the wonderful and marvellous Alaina will be running today's session. I will be in tomorrow for the last Music and Movement of the year, and also on Wednesday for our Christmas shared morning tea, also the last Playgroup session for the year.

Good morning everyone :)

Our high-tech poll (read: piece of paper 😂) results are in - the preferred day for a shared end of year/Christmas morning tea is Wednesday the 17th of December. It would be great if everyone could bring a plate of food to share which is kid and grown-up friendly. We will start the morning tea around 1030-ish.

Wednesday the 17th of December is also the last Playgroup day for 2025 - we will return on Monday the 19th of January, 2026.

We look forward to seeing you all at Playgroup and Music over the next couple of weeks :)

Good morning everyone!

My eldest is sick this morning, so we won't be able to make it in to run Music and Movement unfortunately. The lovely Alaina will be running a regular Playgroup session instead, and I will hopefully be in tomorrow (Wednesday) to run that day, possibly as a Music session if everyone's keen.

Good morning lovely families!

The lovely Alaina is unfortunately sick this week, so she won't be there to run Playgroup this morning. We have a prior engagement so I can't be there either, which means today's session will be parent-led.

Please feel free to take toys out and utilise the big room. If you could please make sure the toys are put away before you leave that would be much appreciated.

I have left my keys with the office for the outside shed and green cupboard doors so please just have a chat with Irene if you need them, or if you have any questions.

We apologise for any inconvenience but we know you guys have got this! See you all next week.

Good morning everyone 😊 As the Community Cebtre is closed for the King’s birthday holiday, playgroup will not be running today. We look forward to seeing you all for music and movement tomorrow 😊

Good morning everyone! My big girl Thalia is not well today, so I will keep her and her germs at home.

Even though I won't be there to run Playgroup today please do still come on down for a parent-led session. Feel free to take out the toys your child wants to play with, and then help to pack them up when you're done. If you have any questions please see Irene in the office.
