Freemans Bay Playcentre is running 10 weeks of messy play fun for under 2s, starting October 15. It's $50 for the whole term.

Expect a regular Playcentre session geared toward under 2s, with songs and messy play for the tamariki and hot drinks, chats and biscuits for caregivers. Next term will be extra special as we will be hatching some chicks! 🐣

The session is run by centre members Maryam and Anna, who attend with their own pēpi.

Kia ora whānau! 🌱 Spring is on the way, and our tamariki got stuck into some awesome garden mahi today at Freemans Bay Playcentre!
We got our hands dirty mixing soil, watering the garden beds, and discovering some very wriggly worms. 🪱💦
This kind of hands-on, messy play directly supports the Mana aotūroa (Exploration) strand of our Te Whāriki curriculum. It’s a fantastic way for our kids to actively investigate the natural environment and learn how to care for our living world.
Ka rawe (awesome work), little gardeners! 🌻

Are you in need of old ply?

Our fence is getting a make-over and the old ply mural will be removed on Thursday. If you have a project you could recycle the old ply for please make use of it!

Would be great to divert it from landfill!
