Part of emergency preparedness is knowing where the local Civil Defense centre is. The Auckland Central one is at the Ellen Melville Centre, 2 Freyberg Place, Auckland Central, Auckland 1010
Opening time: 11/4/26, 9:00 pm

UPDATE (Sunday 12 April, 2:40pm): The Civil Defence Centre at Ellen Melville Centre, Auckland CBD will be stood down at 8pm, transitioning to close at 8am tomorrow Monday 13 April.

🥫 Special food items
🐾 Pet supplies if you cannot find alternative care for pets.
All three centres are accessible for wheelchairs, and a small number of pets can be accommodated.
