Our youngest tamariki have been exploring creativity through painting, stamping, and drawing with a range of different tools. From sponges and leaves to cookie cutters, each experience encourages curiosity, self-expression, and the development of fine motor skills. 🎨🍃✨

Last week we celebrated Samoan Language Week in our preschool space, taking time to connect with and honour the rich culture, language, and traditions of Samoa.

Through shared experiences and meaningful conversations, our tamariki were encouraged to explore cultural identity, develop respect for diversity, and strengthen their understanding of the world around them. These moments help foster a sense of belonging, connection, and appreciation for the many cultures that make up our learning community.

Today we had a visit from Sam from Eco ECE 🌿. She shared with our Tuis the journey of our food scraps and how they are returned to Papatuanuku, helping nourish the soil and grow food such as bananas 🍌.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about caring for our environment and how even our food scraps can help the earth thrive. 🌱✨
