Learning Unlimited Childcare - Northcote - Auckland, NZ

Our lovely childcare centre in Northcote is looking for a talented cook to make some yummy nutritious meals for our children. The shift is between 8:30am to 3:30pm, Mon to Fri, plus one hour for food ordering on-site or from home on Wednesdays.
Besides preparing food, you will also carry out light kitchen cleaning, checking received goods, stock audits and orders, maintaining accurate cooking records, etc. Hence we are looking for someone that loves being clean and tidy, has good time management skills, and enjoys working around children. At least one year of past cooking work experience is preferred. You will also need to have good spoken and written English to succeed in this job.
We use the Clean Plate meal planning service so easy step-by-step instruction will be provided. On-site training and food hygiene course will be arranged to help you transition smoothly into your new role.

Today we were a sea of pink to - Kōrero Mai, Kōrero Atu, Mauri Tū, Mauri Ora – Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying!
We all dressed in pink, made healthy pink smoothies, created beautiful artwork related to kindness and love. Thank you to everyone that made a gold coin donation. 💓 💓

We had a lovely morning today celebrating all our amazing mummies at Learning Unlimited. Thank you to all our mums that came and enjoyed our Mother's Day morning tea. You all do such an amazing job in raising such beautiful children, that we love looking after. Aroha was everywhere this morning.

We are getting into the Christmas spirit here at LU 🎄 we have done some fun things this week. Christmas singing, reindeer painting, baking, Christmas play dough, christmas wish lists, sensory bottles and Christmas decorations 😀 we hope all our families have a lovely weekend, we look forward to seeing you all next week for more Christmas fun 🎄😍

Today everyone at LU celebrated Diwali 🪔 we were lucky to have one of our wonderful mummy’s to come in and make lanterns with us. She also demonstrated on one of our teachers how to wear a sari. Lots of different activities took part throughout the day, art work, dancing, making roti’s and trying samosas. Happy Diwali everyone 🧡

Today our preschoolers had great fun dressing up for their Halloween party. Everyone had a fun day full of fun Halloween activities. Happy Friday 🎃 thank you to everyone who took part. Our amazing teachers had fun dressing up too 🥰
