THANK YOU!!!!!

We are still riding the wave from Friday night and wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who was part of such a special evening. Whether you attended the event, sponsored a prize, or donated to our GiveaLittle, your support has been overwhelming.

Together, we raised approximately $60,000.

We are incredibly grateful for the presence, the generosity, and the energy in the room. It was a powerful reminder of what this community can do when it comes together.

TERM ONE - MATILDA CHUA - ACTOR

Term One has flown by!
TAP has pushed me right up to my physical, mental, and emotional boundaries — which was exactly what I asked for! I love how holistic our training has been and how elements of every class carry into each other. One of my term goals is to be more connected with my breath, voice, and body, rather than thinking of them as separate entities, and I feel like it’s starting to come together.

Thanks Sas for reminding us that perfection doesn’t exist, that we’re all humans in progress and process, and that it’s about play and having fun! The ensemble work we’ve been doing with Katrina George has been challenging in the best of ways and I’ve really appreciated watching how everyone’s different energies support the ensemble. And I’m so grateful for how voice and singing with Cherie Moore has shown us that we are capable of so much more than we think we are.

Seeing how much our entire class has grown in 10 weeks has me super excited for what the rest of the year has in store!

TERM ONE - SAMANTHA ELLWOOD - ACTOR

As term one closes I am overwhelmed with gratitude...

• For our cohort. Working with so many talented, dedicated and encouraging people every day has been an absolute joy! I love how we have grown as an ensemble in just a few months ❤️
• For the generosity of the tutors. They have shared an eye-watering amount of knowledge with us, and showed me that I am more creative than I know.
• And for myself, for waking up every day and daring to go further.

Bring on term two!

TERM ONE - MAXIM JOHNSTON - ACTOR

I’m ending Term One feeling absolutely rinsed, but overwhelmed with gratitude. I’ve had so many opportunities to grow. I fell on my face more times than I can count, but I’m really proud of the effort I gave and how much our ensemble has blossomed since day one.

I’m so grateful to all our tutors and guests who poured into us this term. A special thank you to Sas for holding the space for us to really go deep in the work. Your guidance, encouragement and energy was truly transformative.

And to Jessi, our day to day lifeline, thank you for keeping us grounded and always making sure we never got locked out of the fale.

To my beautiful ensemble, I’m constantly inspired by your talent, your tenacity and your hearts.

Bring on Term Two!!

TERM ONE - THOMAS DAVIDSON - ACTOR

Most of all it was bravery and giving ourselves permission to be and be free. Claim your power. Claim your confidence. Take the risk. Be bold and whatever happens happens. You’ll know it doesn’t matter because you have claimed that power in yourself. Cliff-edge. Jump off the cliff. Break through the barrier. It’s fine. There was never anything to be worried about. It was a bed of feathers. Cliff-edge. Jump off the cliff. Feel the adrenaline.

I love it.

TERM ONE - MIRABELLE HOLMES - ACTOR

WOW—what an incredible 10 weeks it’s been!

This term has been truly amazing. In such a short time, I’ve discovered a new level of confidence in myself that I didn’t even know existed. I’ve faced many challenges, and each one has deepened my love and appreciation for acting.

I’m so proud to be part of such an amazing, supportive cohort who I can now call my whānau.

There have been countless highlights, training with so many inspiring tutors. I feel so, so grateful to everyone for sharing their passion, skills, and experiences with us. My personal standout moments have been our two weeks with THE Sara Wiseman, diving into screen work with Jacqueline Nairn, and voice classes with Cherie Moore, all of which have truly deepened my knowledge and skills.

Feeling so lucky to be at TAP—so inspired, and SO EXCITED for what’s next!!!!
