All glory to God for the support and trust you’ve shown me. ❤️

After my post last Saturday, I was overwhelmed by the number of messages and enquiries I received. It was encouraging to hear from former colleagues, students I’ve helped secure jobs, and students I’ve assisted with their student visa applications. Your support, kind words, and trust genuinely mean a lot to me, and I’m very thankful for each one of you. ❤️

I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m currently going through all my messages and will get back to each of you as soon as I can. Thank you for your patience.

To help me assist you more efficiently, please attach your CV when you message me and answer the questions in the automatic reply. This will give me a better understanding of your situation and allow me to provide more relevant advice.

I would also like to emphasise that my main focus at the moment is helping aspiring students who are interested in studying in New Zealand. If you’re exploring your study options or need guidance on where to start, I’d be happy to help.

Thank you again for your support! ❤️

Hi everyone!

You may have noticed I've been a little quiet lately. Life has been keeping me busy behind the scenes, but I'm excited to be back with some updates!

Just a little update from me — after previously working as a Recruitment Consultant, I’m now focusing more on becoming an Educational Adviser, helping students who are interested in studying here in New Zealand.

Even while working full-time in recruitment, I was already assisting students on the side by guiding them through the process of studying in New Zealand and helping them find employment opportunities while pursuing their studies. This experience inspired me to focus more on supporting students as they work toward their academic and career goals.

I’m also grateful to be partnered with Jumpstart International, who have been supporting me with my students’ applications. Their expertise and ongoing support have helped ensure that students receive the guidance they need throughout the application process.

However, if you’re currently looking for a job, you’re still very welcome to reach out to me. While education is now my main focus, I can still help connect you with trusted people and opportunities within my recruitment network.

If you or someone you know is:
* Planning to study in New Zealand
* Looking for guidance on student pathways and study options
* Searching for employment opportunities

Please feel free to send me a message. I’d be more than happy to help or connect you with the right people.

Thank you all for your support and trust. I truly appreciate it and look forward to helping more people achieve their goals. 😊

As someone who has worked in recruitment, I’d strongly recommend taking the time to do your own due diligence when researching any company or agency.

If you would like to talk things through or need a second opinion, feel free to reach out anytime.

🚨Watch out for fake job offers🚨

New Zealand employers cannot charge you fees for a job or make you pay any of their recruitment costs. This includes indirectly through a third party who then demands you pay them.

If you see these signs of a scam, stop and take extra precautions. Ask questions and seek official advice: https://www.immigration.govt.nz/work/protecting-yourself-from-immigration-scams/

As someone who used to work as a recruitment consultant, it honestly breaks my heart hearing so many stories from workers who don’t even realise they have rights.

What’s even harder to accept is that these situations keep happening, but many choose to stay silent. I’ve spoken to hundreds of them, and they’ve all said the same thing. It’s not because they want to, but because they’re scared. Scared their visa won’t be renewed, scared they might lose their job, scared of what could happen if they speak up.

No one should ever feel like their livelihood depends on accepting unfair treatment. You have the right to fair treatment without fear, pressure, or threats.

There is help out there, and you’re not alone.

I know speaking up isn’t easy. But it matters, not just for you, but for others who might be going through the same thing silently.

🚫 Know your rights. Exploitation is never part of the job.

A recent case in Lower Hutt has highlighted how some employers misuse immigration processes to exploit workers. Following an investigation, a company was sentenced this week after serious breaches were found, including underpaying migrant workers, and shifting visa related costs onto workers.

This behaviour is unlawful - and knowing the warning signs matters.

✅ Know your rights:

• You should never be asked to pay for a job or for the cost of advertising a role. These costs are the employer’s responsibility.
• You must be paid correctly for every hour you work.
• Your employment conditions must be fair and free from pressure, threats, or coercion.
• You can ask for help at any time - support is available even if you’re unsure about your visa situation.

⚠️ Warning signs of exploitation

• Requests for money linked to getting or keeping your job
• Pay that doesn’t match your employment agreement
• Long hours that aren’t recorded or paid
• Employers linking your job or pay to your visa status
• Pay deductions you didn’t agree to or don’t understand

If you or someone you know is experiencing any of these issues, confidential help is available. Speaking up helps protect workers -and supports employers who do the right thing.

Hey everyone! 😊

If you’re planning to study in New Zealand, or know someone who dreams of studying here, feel free to send me a message! I’d be more than happy to guide you through the process.

Whether you’re overseas or already in New Zealand, and no matter what visa you’re currently on, I can assist you with your study options - FREE OF CHARGE.

Feel free to reach out or tag someone who might be interested! 🇳🇿✨

In late 2026, we are introducing a new visa for graduates of vocational study and will extend post study work visa eligibility for some graduate diplomas. These changes will help international graduates take the next step from study into work.

✅ A new Short‑term Graduate Work Visa will give eligible graduates up to six months of open work rights — time to look for a job, gain local experience, and explore longer‑term work options.

✅ More graduates will be eligible for a Post‑Study Work Visa of up to 12 months, with eligibility extended to students completing a Level 7 Graduate Diploma, provided they also hold a Bachelor’s degree.

Find out more about these visas and start planning your study journey at: https://www.immigration.govt.nz/about-us/news-centre/new-and-updated-post-study-work-visa-options/
