Supporting families and whānau is one of the most important things Plunket does and playgroups are an essential part of this.
Plunket playgroups are non-profit early childhood centres in local communities where groups of parents, whānau and children meet regularly. Children get valuable educational and social experiences and parents get to meet and make new friends and share experiences.

World Breastfeeding Week 2023- coffee group

Come along for a fun morning! Breastfeeding, bottle feeding, mix- feeding – it does not matter we are all here to support each other!
This is for all mothers who want to breastfeed, are breastfeeding, were breastfeeding and were not able to breastfeed- to celebrate us mothers and parents how awesome we all are!

Via the magic of Facebook Live and Zoom, join Melissa Charbonneau (Franklin Community Support Coordinator and Playgroup Coordinator) for a vibrant morning session filled with music, movement, play and story every Wednesday from 10am - 10.30 (from 19th July – 27th September). Melissa has many years of experience teaching dance and drama to children as well as running playgroups in-person; she is passionate, enthusiastic and heaps of fun!
Please bring along your instruments (or a pot, pan and wooden spoon) and your best dance moves ❤️❤️❤️
